A Youth Development Initiative!

What if Black Panther came to Buffalo and asked 10 teens how they can change the city into their own Wakanda? Welcome to The Wakanda Alliance Academy for Gifted Afrofuturists! We pay teens to choose skill sessions, field trips, guest speakers, and open conversation topics that help them articulate their world and envision new solutions.

The Alliance gives these youth tools to identify their problems, research material, and utilize mediums that they find most useful - movies, video games, art, and music included. Each of them will be equipped to present, lead, and mentor other teens who are inducted into the program.
