Introducing Our New Series: The Exploration of Africa & The Diaspora: Culture, Mythology, and Art!

This new series is presented by Deja Marie, a long-time friend of The Tribe who is now a part of our incredible staff! The series is designed to showcase historical facts of various African diasporic cultures, allowing participants to learn and create with new context to identity and their personal ingenuity. There will also be exciting art activities as the series progresses!

The Wakanda Alliance returns with another season of learning and growth with the community!

We start our new season off by recalling what Afrofuturism means to us! What do you think of? Who do you think of?

We will also do a group writing prompt: What if Black Panther came to our city after a great disaster? How could Wakanda help? Who would need their help the most?

Our activity will be group creative imagery! We will be using an A.I. device to imagine our own Black futures!
